Thanksgiving Stuffing

  • 1 loaf of white bread
  • 1 package of Bob Evans tube of Maple Sausage
  • 1 cup of apple cider
  • 3 stalks of celery
  • 1 sweet onion
  • 2 teaspoons of Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 cup of Apple Cider
  • 2 eggs
  • Crisco Spray for pan


First take your bread and grind it in a food processor, put in the dish you are going to bake it in.  Take the celery and onion and also put in food processor and give a few pulses.

Take the mixture add to the baking dish, next add the remainder of the ingredients (except Cider and 1 teaspoon of the thyme) and mush together with your hands, flatten this out, pour the cider on top, sprinkle the 1 teaspoon of remaining thyme on top as well.

 Put in oven for about an hour at 350 degrees.  Take out and serve.  Now you can stuff your bird with this as well but I prefer the pan method because I enjoy my stuffing having a nice crisp edge and soft inside. 

Cut up and Enjoy!
