- 10 Shrimp size 15-20 cleaned and deveined
- 7 ounce jar of roasted red peppers
- 3/4 cup of hot banana peppers
- 10 slices of bacon
- 1 cup of white wine
- 4 bulbs of garlic roasted see below
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese
First take the bacon and pre cook it until almost done not crisp, you must be able to wrap the shrimp. Put it aside. Clean all the shrimp and butterfly them, leave the tails on. Once this is done take the bacon and lay it flat, you then take the blue cheese and put it in the center. You now take the bacon and wrap the shrimp. Use tooth picks to keep together.
In a heated pan with the olive oil add the shrimp and cook it until bacon is crispy. You then take the banana peppers and the roasted peppers and add it to the pan. You then add the garlic and wine. Cook until peppers are heated and wine has cooked in. It takes about 5 minutes on low. You then take out of the pan and garnish with the parmesan cheese.
To make the garlic: You take the tops off the bulbs of garlic and put in foil. Cover it with olive oil and cook for an hour in 200 degree oven. They will be soft, squeeze garlic out of them.
