Buckwheat Crepes Traditional:
- 1 and 1/4 cups of Buckwheat Flour
- 3 Large Eggs
- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 3/4cups of milk
- 1and 1/4 cups of water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Now the optional part is to add to the above:
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla
HOW TO MAKE:
Get out the crepe pan (or other small rounded pan) Get it hot on low heat.
Place all the ingredients above in a mixing bowl and mix for a good 3 -5 minutes until everything is well blended and there are no lumps.
I then pour it into a measuring cup for easy pouring into the pan.
Put some butter into the pan and pour in about two tablespoons of the mixture into it. Wait for about 30 seconds until the edge gets crispy and flip. Wait another 30 seconds and flip again. Then put into a pan.
