london broil 288

Ingredients:

  • 1 – 3 to 4 lb piece of meat (London Broil)
  • 4 Wheat Brioche Rolls (any you like, will do)
  • 2 teaspoon of butter for pan
  • 3 teaspoons of olive oil for pan
  • 1/2 onion chopped for pan
  • 1 jar of roasted red peppers for topping sandwich

Marinade:

  • 1/4 cup of oil
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic paste
  • 2 teaspoons of honey
  • 1/4 cup of white balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of ground ginger

Sauce for the sandwich:

  • 3 teaspoons of prepared horse radish
  • 1 teaspoon of ketchup
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1/2 sweet onion chopped fine
  • 4 banana peppers chopped fine
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of maple mustard or dijon mustard
  • 4 tablespoons of mayo or miracle whip

HOW TO:

First make your sauce by taking all the ingredients and mix well.  Put in fridge until ready to use.

Next make the marinade for the meat by adding all the above ingredients and stirring well, take this and put in a zip lock bag and marinate for about 2 hours, overnight would be best flavor but not necessary.

When the meat is ready, I slice the meat before cooking into long pieces.  In a pan on stovetop I put the butter, oil and onions and let melt down and get the flavor of the onions for a about 3 minutes.  I then add the meat to the pan and cook to your liking,  Take the meat off the heat and put on a plate to rest. Heat up your rolls then put the sauce on each side of the roll, you then put the meat on the roll with the roasted peppers on top,  Enjoy ……
